KVM Virt-Manager opens up with weird characters

So you have installed your KVM virtualization and you are about to run your very first VM instance with Virt-Manager but your X11 forward opens up with weird characters as shown below.

The solution is actually quite simple simply install the following package via apt-get / yum:

dejavu-lgc-sans-fonts

 

yum (RedHat/CentOS/Fedora):

yum install dejavu-lgc-sans-fonts

apt (Ubuntu):

apt-get install dejavu-lgc-sans-fonts

KVM / Virtualization & Cloud KVM / Qemu / unicode / virt-manager /
